The KSFF is proud to offer a handy guide to the Flora of Kanawha State Forest, based upon original work by Margaret Dennison. This guide explains where to find wildflowers, trees, shrubs, ferns and grasses within the Forest, and for wildflowers, it also tells you when to find them in bloom. Intended as a supplement to traditional plant identification texts, this is for the nature lover who wants to know where to seek out the living treasures of the Forest.
This guide is illustrated with a variety of artwork, including selected images from Core and Strasbaugh's "Flora of West Virginia", drawings from students of Ms. Dennison, and eight pages of color photos.

This guide is available for sale at KSFF events, at the State Forest office, and at some bookstores around West Virginia. You may also order this book from West Virginia Book Company.
The Foundation's guides will add to your enjoyment and safety in the Forest. Proceeds support activities of the Kanawha State Forest Foundation.
