The KSFF has available for sale an 18x24 inch hiking/biking guide and Forest map. It is printed on quality paper and folds like an ordinary roadmap. Trails, service roads, streams, boundaries, and hunting zones are clearly designated in color. There are GPS coordinates as well as a locator grid for trail heads, shelters, restrooms, and major sites in the Forest. Trail twists and turns as well as distances are precise and easy to follow.

The reverse side includes a description of natural features and recreational opportunities. There are detailed descriptions of each trail as well as hiking and biking loops of various lengths and levels of difficulty. Contact information for the Forest Office and the Foundation is listed for easy reference. There is a brief list of rules and regulations to ensure the best outdoor experience for everyone.

The Guide also provides course descriptions for combining several trails into loops suitable for bikers and separate loops for hikers.
The cost is $5 and the maps may be purchased at the Forest Office, Taylor Books, or the Charleston Bicycle Center. You may also order by sending a check for $5.50 payable to KSFF and designated for “Forest Map” to:
