The Kanawha State Forest Foundation
2010 Osbra Eye Nature Walks

The Osbra Eye Memorial Nature Walks will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2009. As with our previous programs, we will offer hikes focussed on different areas of nature lore. Pick your subject and join the hike that suits your interest. Experienced and knowlegeable naturalists lead will each hike, share their insights and welcome your questions. Some of our 'walks' do not even require hiking (see details below).
Registration begins at 9:00 am and the hikes will begin promptly at 9:30 am. All guides and walkers will first gather near the old Swimming Pool and, from there, the hikes will fan out into different areas of the forest.
We request a $5.00 donation to cover the costs of putting on the program. We also offer baked goods, hot dogs and soft drinks for sale before and after the event. Water will be available for hikers.
